I offer in-person consultations within 5 miles of my home address in Kendal, Cumbria at no extra cost. Because I live in a rural county and commute times can be considerable (there can be a few hills to get over!), even if the distance doesn’t seem that far I do have a travel fee. If you live further afield, a mileage fee of £1 per mile applies beyond this distance for the return journey. For example if you live 10 miles away the travel fee would be £10 (first 5 miles there and back free, then extra 5 miles there and back at £1 per mile =£10.
